New Brunswick police received a call from a person who had discovered human remains on a dirt road near the intersection of Highway 8 and Route 415 in Upper Derby, on October 27th.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Candace Rose Winona Stevens of Fredericton, and police say her death was a homicide.
