Brantford Police Investigating Fatal Stabbing; Bradley George Saunders, Arrested for Second Degree Murder

On April 3, 2025, at around 4:15 p.m., Brantford Police responded to a disturbance at a Charlotte Street home. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim who had been stabbed. Tragically, the victim later succumbed to his injuries.

The police investigation has revealed that the individuals involved were known to one another, and it is not believed to be a random act of violence.

Authorities have arrested one male suspect on charges of Accessory After the Fact to Murder, Weapons Dangerous, and Assault with a Weapon. Additionally, police are actively seeking 27-year-old Bradley George Saunders, who is wanted for Second Degree Murder.

Saunders is described as an Indigenous male, 6’2″ tall, weighing approximately 155 lbs., with long dark hair. There is no available information on his clothing or vehicle at this time.

Update: On April 4, 2025, at around 10:12 p.m., Bradley George Saunders was arrested following a short foot chase in the area of Queen Street and Darling Street. Saunders was taken into custody after a coordinated effort by multiple units within the Brantford Police Service, including the Criminal Intelligence Unit, Drug & Firearm Enforcement Unit, Emergency Response Team, and General Uniform Patrol.

The police also noted that their Forensic Identification Unit is continuing to process evidence related to the case. During the arrest, a search of Saunders revealed suspected crystal meth. Saunders remains in police custody and is awaiting bail. He is currently facing charges related to second-degree murder.
