Brandon police responded to a report of an unconscious man just before midnight on August 8th.

Police arrived to find a deceased man in a back alley between 12th Street and 13th Street. Despite life-saving efforts from witnesses, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police have not released his identity or cause of death at this time.
