Montreal, Quebec 2026 Homicide Victim List

Emergency crews were called to an apartment building on Masson Street at around 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 10th.

When they arrived, they discovered a man inside a unit who showed no vital signs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released the victim’s age, and the cause of death has not yet been determined. Investigators are now reviewing the area and checking nearby surveillance cameras in hopes of learning more about what led to the killing.

Montreal police have since confirmed the death is being treated as a homicide, marking the fourth homicide reported on the island in 2026.

Update: Lucas Choquette, has been charged with the murder of his father Marc-Antoine Choquette.
