Six Roads RCMP responded to a report of a house fire on Route 150 on November 12th at approximately 1:30 am.

Police arrived to the scene to the home fully engulfed in flames. A man was able to flee the building and was taken to hospital , and a 19 year old man was found a short distance from the scene and arrested.

When the fire was extinguished police located a man and a woman in the home, both of whom were deceased. Police have not released the names of the victims at this time.

Beniot Bertin, 19, has been charged with two counts of first degree murder, attempted murder and arson
