Thunder Bay Police are investigating a homicide that took place Monday evening near 1010 Dawson Road.

Emergency crews responded around 5:30 p.m. after a 911 call reported an injured man. Officers from the Primary Response Unit, Emergency Task Unit, and K9 Unit arrived at the scene.

The man was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Major Crimes and Forensic Identification units are now leading the investigation.
