5 Charged in the June 2020 homicide of Kyler Dean Commandeur in Clairmont Alberta

Kyler Dean Commandeur, 19, was found along the roadside of Highway 677, near the Working turnoff just west of Highway 2 on June 11th.

An autopsy was completed and determined his death to be a homicide.

On November 15th Alberta RCMP announced that five people have been arrested in relation to the homicide.

  • A 28-year-old man from Clairmont was arrested on September 24th and charged with first-degree murder.
  • A 25-year-old man from Grande Prairie who turned himself in to RCMP on October 16th has been charged with first-degree murder.
  • A 30-year-old man from Grande Prairie was arrested in Saskatchewan on November 13th and charged with first-degree murder. 
  • A 34-year-old woman from Grande Prairie was arrested on September 25th and charged with accessory to murder after the fact.
  • A 36-year-old woman from Beaverlodge was arrested on September 25th and charged with forcible confinement.
