Remains Found in Windermere Basin in Hamilton identified as Toronto man Jammar Allison who was abducted in 2018

Hamilton police said a single bone was discovered by a citizen in Windemere Basin Park on October 2019. A year later, on October 6, 2020, Hamilton Police responded to another location within Windermere Basin Park where human remains were discovered. These remains were sent to the Centre of Forensic Sciences. 

Further testing, including dental records, lead to the identification of the remains as 26-year-old Jammar Allison of Toronto, and the manner of death a homicide. Allison was abducted from a parking lot located at 680 Rexdale Blvd in Toronto on June 1st 2018, by who police believe to be three unknown suspects. The suspects were driving a black Dodge Caravan. Toronto Police had been investigating the disappearance of Jammar Allison as a kidnapping for the past two years.
