Thompson RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive female at an apartment located on Cree Road in Thompson, on October 12th at approximately 8:10am.

Police located a 33-year-old woman deceased. Police said her death was a homicide, however, cause of death has not been released.

A 25-year-old male was arrested on scene and remains in police custody.
