York regional police responded to a report of several shots fired outside a residence in the area of Cottsmore Crescent and Harvest Moon Drive on August 1st at approximately 2:45 p.m.

Responding officers located the victim Chenguang LI, a 50-year-old man from Markham suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

A black Acura, 4-door, sedan, with tinted windows, was seen leaving the area.

Anyone who has video footage, including dashcam, cell phone, or security recordings from the area around the time of the incident.
