York Regional police were called to a local hospital after a victim arrived suffering from a stab wound on August 8, 2024, at approximately 6 a.m.
The victim was accompanied by two other males, one of which police said left immediately after they dropped the victim off. The victim was pronounced deceased a short time later. He has been identified as a 16-year-old male youth from the City of Montreal.
Investigators determined that three males were involved in a theft of vehicle on Kersey Street at approximately 4:45 a.m. Later that morning, the stolen vehicle was recovered in a parking lot in the area of Weston Road and Sheppard Avenue West, in the City of Toronto. An unknown suspect was observed on video exiting the stolen vehicle and leaving the area on foot.
Police said 19-year-old, Isaiah MENTOR LORGUSTE, of City of Montreal, has been charged with Theft of Motor Vehicle Over $5,000.
Update: A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Katherine BERGERON-PINZARR, 27, of Mississauga. She is wanted for Second Degree Murder.
Officers are also looking to identify a man in relation to this incident and are appealing to the public to help locate a suspect vehicle, a 2013 Mercedes C300 white, with black tinted windows and Quebec licence plate X25SWG.
As the investigation progressed, detectives determined the accused are linked to a larger organized auto theft ring. As a result, arrest warrants have been issued for two additional suspects.
Police are seeking Lensly FRANCOIS, 31, of Saint-Hubert, Quebec, who is wanted for Theft of a Motor Vehicle Over $5,000, Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence, and Breach of Probation.
Police are also seeking William GALLANT, 26, of Quebec City, Quebec. He is wanted for Theft of a Motor Vehicle Over $5,000, Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence, and Breach of Probation.
On July 9, 2026, the suspect was arrested in Calgary, Alberta.
Katherine BERGERON-PINZARRONE, 27, of Mississauga, has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
