The 2021 Winnipeg Homicide Victim List is available here
Winnipeg Police Service responded to Main Street and Alfred Avenue on the report of possible human remains on March 4th 5:59pm.
On March 8th WPS released the identity of the victim as 29-year-old Jana Noella Williams. Her cause of death has not been released, however, police say she was murdered.
The Homicide Unit is asking the public for their help with establishing Jana’s whereabouts and activities over the past two weeks. Police have released photos of the victim to aid in the investigation.
