Winnipeg Police responded to the 300 block of Talbot Avenue regarding a report of a stabbing on October 23rd at approximately 1:30 am.
Police and paramedics arrived to find a man in his apartment suffering from serious injuries. The victim who has been identified as 37-year-old Darcy Lesley Rose was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508.
Update
December 10, 2019, Michael Joseph Thomas Fox, was placed under arrest at the Stony Mountain Institution where he was in custody for an unrelated matter and charged with Second-degree murder.
