Halton police responded to a 911 report of a shooting, on a residential street in the area of Monarch Drive and Niagara Trail on October 29th at approximately 11:00pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a man deceased on the driveway of a home. Const. Ryan Anderson said the victim has been identified as 36-year-old Ryan Lorde and said he was shot right outside of his home.

Nova Scotia-born music executive, Ryan Lorde, better known as Littles the General was well known in the Canadian Hip-hop community according to HipHopCanada.

Police said they don’t have any descriptions of a suspect, but are urging anyone with information to contact police at 905-825-4776, or Crime Stoppers’ at 1-800-222-8477 .

The death of Ryan Lorde is the 4th Halton Region Homicide of 2019.
