Update: 41-year-old Woman charged – Waterloo Regional Police Investigate the homicide of Kayla Duff in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police responded to a 911 report of a medical emergency at a recidence on Queen street on September 11th at approximately 10:30am.

Police and paramedics arrived to find 22-year-old Kayla Duff deceased at the scene. Police have taken a 41-year-old adult female into custody who is believed to be known to the deceased.

Update
A 41-year-old female has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to this homicide. A autopsy has determined that the 22-year-old victim died of multiple stab wounds.
