Toronto police and paramedics responded to a report of an injured man, bleeding on the street shortly before midnight on July 30th.

The victim, Said Ali 22, was found at the scene suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Ali was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on July 31.
