Toronto police responded to the report of “unknown trouble” on December 30, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m in the Old Weston Road and Rockwell Avenue area.

On arrival police located Thomas Coish, 29, of Toronto, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police said a 58-year-old man with stab wounds was transported to hospital in stable condition.

Police are looking for two suspects described as male, white, and wearing dark clothing.
