Toronto police responded police responded to a call for a shooting in the Nugget Avenue and McCowan Road area on December 13th at 3:48am.

Police and paramedics arrived to find 23-year-old Mohamed Asser suffering from life-threatening injuries. Asser was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police said there were a number of attendees at the night club. They would like to speak to anyone who has video or information of this event. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-7400, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).

Update: On December 18th, 2021, Toronto police arrested Jonathan Hill, 32, and charged him with Second degree Murder.
