The Toronto 2024 Homicide Victim List is available here

Toronto police responded to a stabbing at a residence near Finch Avenue East and McCowan Road on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at approximately 11:02 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found 66-year-old Kulathungham Mathisoody of Toronto with serious injuries inside the home. Despite efforts to assist, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s son, 32-year-old Elanko Mathisoody of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder in connection with the incident.
