Toronto police were called to the area of Martin Grove Road and Redgrave Drive at around 4:30pm on September 11th on report of a stabbing.

Police arrived to find the 50-year-old Ameer Saib deceased at the scene. The suspect, the victim’s 20-year-old son, fled the scene and was involved in a single-vehicle crash near Highway 401 and Islington Avenue. He has been arrested and is facing charges in relation to his fathers death.
