On November 13, 2017, at 11:19 p.m., Toronto police were called for a sound of gunshots to the area of Dundas Street East and Parliament Street.

Police located the victim, Kwsie Blair, 20, in medical distress. Blair was rushed to hospital where he remained until his passing on December 11th.  The death of Blair is now being investigated as a homicide.
