Toronto Homicide #36 – Police investigate the death of Kim Gagne as a homicide

Toronto police responded to a call for a well-being check in the Yorkdale Crescent and Lovilla Boulevard area on July 14th at approximately 9:32am.

Police located Kim Gagne, 33, of Toronto, inside of the residence with significant injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Update July 16th
On July 15th Toronto police arrested Bronson Lake, 32, of Toronto, and charged him with second-degree murder. He will attend court virtually on July 16, at 1000 Finch Avenue West, at 10 a.m.
