Toronto police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 6:15pm on July 3rd, in the area of Kennedy Road and Antrim Crescent.

Police located the victim suffering from life threatening injuries, with shell casings nearby. Officers performed CPR until paramedics arrived to the scene and rushed the victim to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Caden Francis, 16.

Update: On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 12:35 p.m, Toronto police arrested a 15-year-old girl and charged her with First Degree murder.

Update: On Friday, February 4, 2022, a 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
