Toronto homicide #23 – Odale Leslie fatally shot and three injured in Etobicoke shooting

Toronto police were responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the area of Willowridge Road and Eglinton Avenue West on May 16th at approximately 2:30 pm.

According to reports Insp. Michael Williams for the Toronto police said that unknown individuals driving a dark sedan entered the complex’s roundabout and approached two vehicles, a Toyota Camry and a Mercedes Benz. The suspects in the sedan opened fire at the occupants inside those vehicles. Approximately 100 bullets were fired before the suspect fled the scene.

All four male victims were rushed to hospital where one man was pronounced deceased. One of the victims remains in life threatening condition.

Update May 18th
The deceased victim has been identified as Odale Leslie, 28, of Mississauga. Toronto police said a vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting is described as a black, four-door sedan, possibly a 2014-2018 Audi A6. A security camera image of the vehicle has been released.
