Toronto police responded to a report of a stabbing in the King Street West and Bay Street area of the PATH on April 10th at approximately 7:11pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find 51-year-old Rae Cara Carrington, suffering from life threatening injuries. Despite live saving efforts, Carrington was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are searching for a suspect who has been described as a white male, 20-30 years old, 5’8″ to 5’9″, medium build, with dark hair and facial hair. The suspect was wearing a light baseball cap, a black hooded sweater with a white T-shirt underneath, dark pants and dark shoes.

Update: On Friday, April 12, 2019, Duncan O’Neil Sinclair, 19, of Toronto, was arrested by Georgian Bay police and charged with first degree murder.
