The Toronto 2024 Homicide Victim List is available here

Toronto police responded to a call for a shooting in the Bergamot Drive and Rexdale Boulevard area on March 3rd at approximately 11:37 p.m.

On arrival, police located a man outside near the parking lot of a residential building. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Jasmit Badesha, 25, of Mission, British Columbia.

Investigators are appealing to witnesses, anyone who has dash-camera or video surveillance, or anyone who has information on the suspect vehicle and occupant(s) at the time of the shooting to contact police.
