The Toronto 2024 Homicide Victim List is available here

Toronto police responded to a shooting in the area of Finch Avenue West and Westmore Drive, east of Highway 27, at around 12:45 p.m on February 29th.

On arrival police located a man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a white SUV with a Quebec licence plate. His identity has not been released at this time.  Det. Sgt. Al Bartlett of the homicide unit said  “Sadly, although life-saving measures were performed, the male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.”

The victim is a 39-year-old man. His identity is not being released at this time.

Police are looking for at least two suspects who fled in a four-door dark-coloured Honda last seen westbound on Finch Avenue.
