Three arrested after the fatal stabbing of Damien Lamoureux in Halifax

Halifax Regional Police responded to the report of an injured man at approximately 8:30 p.m on May 21st in the 1200 block of Barrington Street.

Police arrived to find 21-year-old Damien Lamoureux suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died later that night. Police said Lamoureux died from stabbing injuries.

Three adults have been arrested in connection with the case, and are not looking for any other suspects.

Update May 23rd
Mitchell William Coles, 26, has been charged with second degree murder. The other two who were arrested have been released without charges.
