Suspicious death of Delbert Sainnawap being investigated by police.

Police have opened a full investigation after the suspicious death of Delbert Sainnawap 34, from Mishkeegogamang First Nation.

Sainnawap visited Mishkeegogamang Health Centre on Thursday February 23 for an injury he had sustained on February 21st. Sainnawap was then airlifted to Thunder Bay Hospital where he died of his injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for February 25th.
