A death initially deemed suspicious is now being treated as a homicide, according to Saskatoon police.
Just after 12:40 a.m. on July 31, officers responded to a call about an injured person at a home in the 300 block of Avenue J South. When they arrived, they found a 27-year-old woman who had died at the scene.
The Saskatoon Police Service’s Major Crime Section has taken over the investigation. This marks the city’s seventh homicide of the year.
