Surrey police investigate the suspicious death of Adrian Golofit as a homicide

Surrey police responded to a report of a man finding his friend dead in a coach house in the area of 194 Street and 66 Avenue shortly after 7:15pm on February 12th.

Sgt.Frank Jang of IHIT said the victim has been identified as Adrian Golofit, 31, who is not known to police and does not appear to have any ties to gangs. Golofit was found in his home, suffering from injuries consistent with a homicide, however, the cause of death has not been released at this time.

Adrian had last been in contact with a friend on February 11th at 8:00am. Investigations are tiring to piece together the timeline between the phone call and the murder.
