100 Mile House RCMP responded to a sudden death at a home near Sheridan Lake on August 6th in the The South Cariboo region of BC.

a 69-year-old man was located deceased in a suspicious manner. 100 Mile House RCMP Detachment Commander S/Sgt Svend Nielsen  said “At this stage in the investigation this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.”

Major crimes has taken over the investigation. Due to the privacy of the deceased, under the Coroners Act, the deceased’s name will not be released.
