On September 20, 2025, around 11:09 a.m., Cambridge Bay RCMP were called to a home on Kilgavik Street where a 41-year-old man was found unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was secured, and the Nunavut RCMP Major Crime Unit has since taken over the investigation. Authorities have confirmed that the death is being treated as a homicide.
