Peel police responded to a shooting in Mississauga in the area of Goreway Drive and Morning Star Drive in Mississauga on December 19th, just before 10 p.m.

On arrival Police located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Peel police Const. Taylor Halfyard said at a Saturday afternoon news conference that the victim’s age is not being disclosed out of respect for the family.
