Peel Police were made aware of a fail to remain collision that happened on Sunny Meadow Boulevard in the City of Brampton at approximately 11:00pm on Christmas day.
A 51-year-old Balvinder Bains was located in life-threatening condition after being struck by a vehicle. Bains was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries.
On December 26th Police located the vehicle involved in this incident and arrested 53-year-old Amarjit Lamba from Brampton. The suspect was taken into custody for Second Degree Murder.
