Peel Region Police responded to the report of a shooting in the area of Mavis Road and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga on June 18th, at approximately 1:27 a.m.

Police and paramedics located the male shooting victim and rushed him to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police have not made any arrests and there is no suspect description at this time. Anyone with information on this incident, surveillance or dashcam footage that may have captured the moments leading up to, during, or after the incident is asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121.
