The Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit is currently investigating the death of an adult male on Pondhollow Way in Ottawa. The police were called to the area at approximately 5:16 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2025.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased 58-year-old man. The victim has since been identified as Wilson Sabarros, a resident of Ottawa.

At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide. Authorities have emphasized that they do not believe there is an ongoing risk to public safety. The investigation is ongoing, and police are working diligently to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.

Update January 18th: Mia TEJADA, a 28-year-old woman and Omar ASSAAD, a 26-year-old man, both of Ottawa have been jointly charged with First Degree Murder.
