Update David Brown arrested in Sudbury for second-degree murder – Niagara Falls police investigate the homicide of Tenille Olivia KING (LEPP)

The Niagara Regional Police Service has been investigating the disappearance of Tenille Olivia LEPP, who was reported missing on October 31st, 2023. Due to the circumstances surrounding the incident, this investigation was taken over by members of the Homicide Unit.

A ground search in the area of Thundering Waters Blvd and Marineland Parkway, in the City of Niagara Falls, has been ongoing by members of the Homicide Unit, Emergency Task Unit (ETU), Marine Unit and Canine Unit. On November 3rd, 2023, Niagara police located. the body of a woman in the area of Thundering Waters Blvd and Marineland Parkway, in the City of Niagara Falls.  

The victim has been identified as Tenille Olivia KING (LEPP).

Update November 7th
46-year-old David Mathew BROWN (Of No Fixed Address) is currently WANTED on a Canada-wide warrant for the following Criminal Code offence:

  • 2nd Degree Murder

Brown was last seen in the Sudbury area on November 4th, 2023 on foot; his current whereabouts are unknown.  Brown is known to live a transient lifestyle and is resourceful in the wilderness, living off of the land.

Brown is described as:

  • White male
  • 5’11”
  • 170 pounds
  • Blue/hazel eyes
  • Tattoos on his left arm (Tribal design, mermaid, and flame arm band on upper arm)

Brown was last seen wearing:

  • Brown construction overalls
  • Black sweater with “buffalo plaid”
  • Black rubber winter boots
  • Carrying a brown military style backpack

Brown is considered to be dangerous.  Anyone who observes BROWN’s whereabouts should call 911 immediately, and not approach him.

Update:

On Thursday November 9, 2023, with the assistance of Greater Sudbury Police Service, David Brown was located in Downtown Sudbury and arrested on the strength of a Canada-wide warrant.

46-year-old David Mathew Brown is currently facing the charge of:

–          2nd Degree Murder
