Montreal 2024 Homicide Victim List

Montreal police were called to the report of a stabbing at a rooming house on 1st Ave. near Provost St on March 28th at approximately 11:45 p.m.

On arrival police located 40-year-old Francis Hébert, semi-conscious, suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

28-year-old suspect, Ahmed Achour, was arrested and taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Achour was charged with second-degree murder and the attempted murder of another man who was attacked the same day.
