Police said the 24-year-old victim was shot just before midnight on December 2nd as he was walking near the intersection of 4th Ave. and Notre-Dame St. in the Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles borough.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died days later. No arrests have been made.
