Saskatoon Police responded to a stabbing in progress on April 23, at around 1am in the 800 block of Central Avenue.

Police arrived to find 18 year old Mohammed Omar unconscious, suffering from many stab wounds. Omar died at the scene.

With help from witnesses Police immediately arrested Walid Adam Mohamed, 29, and charged him with first-degree murder.
