York Regional Police responded to report of a deceased man in the area of 14thAvenue and Kennedy Road in Markham on February 25th, 2019.
Investigation revealed the victim had died as a result of the use of drugs laced with fentanyl. On June 18th police arrested Michael Calvan, 33, and charged him with Manslaughter, Criminal Negligence Cause Death, Trafficking in Schedule 1 Substance, and Possession for Purpose of Trafficking.
