The 2023 Manitoba Homicide Victim List is available here

Manitoba First Nation police Service responded to an injured female, at a residence on Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation on June 29th at approximately 3:15 pm.

On arrival police located a 24-year-old woman deceased in the home. Police have not released the victim’s identity or cause of death, but said her death is being investigated as a homicide.

RCMP Major Crime Services, along with Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.

Update: Fantasia Prince, 26 has been arrested, and is facing a charge of second-degree murder and other outstanding charges.
