Surrey RCMP responded to the report of an assault in the 5500-block of 125 St at approximately 8:30pm on February 17th.

Police arrived to find a man in his 60’s seriously injured outside of the home. Officers performed CPR until paramedics arrived, however, the victim was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics.

In the morning of February 18th a man was seen jumping over a fence from a neighbour’s yard onto the property where the homicide took place. police arrested the suspect and said it was an isolated incident, and the victim and the accused were from the same family and same household.
