Innisfail RCMP responded to an injured male on the sidewalk in the area of 51 Avenue and 49 Street on April 24th at approximately 10:30pm.

Police arrived to find Winston Grant, 27, in serious condition. Grant was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. An autopsy conducted on April 26th revealed the manner of death to be a homicide.

Malcolm Bourgeois, 40, has been arrested and charged with Manslaughter.
