Calgary police responded to the report of a man in medical distress in the 300 block of 26 Avenue S.W., on October 30th at approximately 10:45pm.

Paramedics were able to stabalize the victim, 30-year-old Stephen Scott and rushed him to hospital where he died of his injuries on November 2nd.

Calgary police said Stephen had been socializing with friends at an apartment on Saturday evening. Stephen briefly left the home with another man, at which time an altercation occurred, and he sustained fatal injuries. The cause of death has not been released.

The victim’s cousin Levi Michael Scott, 32, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder.
