Chatham Kent police announced that Daniel Marchand, 45, of Tilbury was reported missing on April 19th, 2023 and reported to have been last seen on April 15th, 2023.

Police said the investigation brought officers to a residence on Dufferin Avenue in Tilbury on April 26th, where Daniel Marchand was found deceased. An autopsy was performed and revealed the manner of death to be a homicide.

Ken Bayis, 32, of Tilbury, Ontario, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
