According to reports, OPP said Dakota Ryder, 25, was assaulted at the Millhaven Institution prison in Bath, Ontario. Ryder was taken to the hospital at approximately 3:00am on September 23rd where he died from his injuries.
Police said another inmate, 37-year-old Imo Atiba Lewis, is arrested and charged.
