On November 18, 2024, the family of 30-year-old Chantelle Moore contacted the Surrey RCMP to report her missing after they had not heard from her for an extended period. Following an in-depth investigation by the Surrey and Langley RCMP, it was discovered that Ms. Moore was last seen at a hotel in Langley, and there had been no contact with her since late October.
What initially started as a missing person case has now been handed over to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT). This shift occurred after new information emerged, suggesting that her disappearance may be suspicious in nature.
A lot of questions remain unanswered, says Sgt. Freda Fong of IHIT.Chantelle’s family and loved ones deserve to know what happened to her and we will continue to work with Langley RCMP to advance this case.
Anyone who may have information is asked to contact the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-IHIT (4448) or by email at ihitinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
