BC RCMP responded to a shooting in Coquitlam in the area of Westwood Street and Glen Drive just after 4 p.m. on January 6th.

On arrival, police located a 21-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital but later died of his injuries.

Update October 2025: Tyrel O’Hearn, 24, was arrested on October 17th and charged with first-degree murder.
